Could you be the full-time Manufacturing Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your manufacturing and process engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized and aligned with Alstom standards, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, manufacturing, HR), provide technical expertise on manufacturing processes, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of maintaining accurate industrial data and ensuring all manufacturing milestones are met, but also support the team in resolving technical issues using your process knowledge.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring that manufacturing processes are well-defined according to Alstom standards (SMP, SML, EHS).
Monitoring and controlling all manufacturing milestones within your scope of responsibility.
Providing training and process awareness for manufacturing management and blue-collar employees, ensuring all standards are known and applied.
Collaborating with managers and HR to maintain and update the skills matrix accurately.
Ensuring all industrial milestones are achieved on time, with no open points after deadlines.
Offering technical expertise to resolve engineering or manufacturing issues based on your experience and process knowledge.
Maintaining 100% accuracy of data (BoM, routings, work instructions, reference standards, and control plans).
Ensuring EHS compliance with site commitments.
Managing open issues at both project and industrial levels, ensuring timely resolution of all points.
Overseeing BoM and method time management, ensuring alignment with targets.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Technical degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
Experience in manufacturing, particularly in painting and gluing activities.
Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and expertise in your scope of responsibility.
