Freedom24 is an investment platform of the international financial group Freedom Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: FRHC), providing clients worldwide with access to over 1 million financial instruments — including stocks, bonds, ETFs and options. We are actively expanding across Europe and growing our team in Cyprus.

We are now looking for a Project Manager who will ensure the highest standards of project execution across the European region. This is an excellent opportunity to join an international team operating in a dynamic fintech environment and make a direct impact on the growth of Freedom24’s rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities:

– Development and implementation of project management standards: Design and roll out a unified project management framework across the organization, including templates, workflows, and governance models. Ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability in project execution. Promote best practices and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

– Risk and quality management: Proactively identify and assess risks in new and ongoing projects. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions. Ensure all projects meet internal quality benchmarks and comply with regulatory and operational standards.

– Strategic planning and prioritization: Partner with senior leadership to evaluate project proposals and prioritize initiatives based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic alignment. Support decision-making by providing clear analysis, timelines, and resource forecasts.

– Communication and reporting: Act as the central point of contact for project-related communications. Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders. Ensure timely, effective communication across departments, with external partners, and with senior management.

– Cross-functional and external coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, IT, Compliance) to ensure smooth project execution. Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring deliverables are on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.

– Process optimization: Continuously review and refine project processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery. Introduce automation and digital tools where appropriate to streamline workflows and reporting.

– Team collaboration and mentorship: Foster a culture of quality and standardization by working closely with colleagues across departments. Provide guidance and mentorship on project methodologies, tools, and best practices. Encourage knowledge sharing and support a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

Experience and Skills:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in project management within the financial sector, preferably with a focus on the European market; experience in brokerage or related financial services is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record of managing projects end-to-end: from initiation to closure, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Experience in developing and implementing project management standards, processes, templates, and reporting practices
  • Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with best practices (PMBOK/PRINCE2)
  • Strong background in risk and quality management, including mitigation planning and issue resolution
  • Experience in project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial planning
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience (e.g., with Legal, Finance, Compliance, IT)
  • Proven ability to manage external vendors and service providers: selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to prepare business cases, evaluate proposals, and prioritize projects based on strategic impact
  • Process optimization experience, including the use of digital tools and automation to improve efficiency
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and detailed reports for senior management and executives

–Education and Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master) are a strong advantage
  • English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate level or higher
