About the Role
We’re looking for skilled Electricians willing to relocate to join our on-site team, helping bring solar energy solutions to life for homes and businesses. In this hands-on role, you’ll install and connect solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Solar PV Installation: Mount and wire solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment according to design specifications and electrical codes.
Electrical Connections: Connect systems to building networks and the grid; install switchgear, circuit breakers, and generation meters.
System Testing & Commissioning: Test systems for proper voltage, current, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues before handover.
Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety protocols and national electrical regulations. Use PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures as needed.
Quality Workmanship: Deliver clean, organized, and well-documented installations. Communicate modifications to the design team.
Maintenance & Support: Occasionally perform maintenance or repairs on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with installation crews, roofers, and supervisors. Assist or mentor junior electricians if needed.
Customer Interaction: Answer simple questions about system operation and ensure a positive client experience.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new solar technologies, codes, and best practices. Contribute ideas to improve installation methods and safety.
Required Qualifications
Certification: Fully qualified electrician with recognized certification or license (e.g., National Craft Certificate in Electrical Installation, Safe Electric registration in Ireland).
Experience: Minimum 3 years in electrical installation work. Experience with solar PV or renewable energy projects is highly preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and national regulations (e.g., IS 10101, BS 7671). Familiarity with PV system components is a plus.
Additional Certifications: Training in solar installation, NABCEP PV Installer certification, or safety certifications (Working at Heights, Safe Pass, First Aid, Manual Handling) is advantageous.
Driver’s License: Valid license with ability to travel to multiple project sites.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, lift solar panels, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to the project location.
