We are looking for a talented Country Manager (HQ) to join MD Finance. In this role, you will represent the HQ within our newly formed Indian subsidiary and take end-to-end ownership of daily operations and business performance. You will lead the setup and scaling of core processes , own the P&L, and ensure that the subsidiary operates in line with MD Finance standards while meeting local regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent MDfin’s interests within the subsidiary company and ensure adherence to corporate standards and policies.
  • Operational management: lead and oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Recruit and train operational staff: build, onboard, and develop a high-performing team; set SOPs and training programs.
  • P&L responsibility: monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring profitability and liquidity.
  • Communication and strategic alignment: support effective communication and coordination between MDfin and the Indian subsidiary.
  • Business scaling and efficiency: participate in business growth initiatives and drive operational efficiency, ensuring that infrastructure remains secure and compliant with group requirements.

  • Efficient and transparent operations in full alignment with MDfin’s corporate standards.
  • Achievement of financial targets and delivery of a positive P&L result.
  • Timely and accurate management reporting to the headquarters.
  • Scalable and transparent business processes that support sustainable long-term growth.

Professional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in PDL.
  • Proven experience in P&L ownership and budgeting; strong understanding of financial analysis and unit economics.
  • Knowledge of corporate and tax legislation, as well as compliance and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to build processes from the ground up.
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
  • Proactive, independent, and results-oriented professional attitude.
