Junior Finance analyst in Tashkent

What we expect

1. Financial planning and forecasting

• Development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts (quarterly, monthly)
• Building financial models to assess future business performance (revenue, costs, profit, cash flow)

2. Variance analysis

• Comparing actual results with planned indicators
• Explaining deviations (e.g., cost increases, sales declines) and identifying root causes
• Preparing corrective action recommendations

3. Management decision support

• Providing analytical insights and reports for senior management
• Performing scenario analysis and “what-if” modeling to support strategic decisions

4. Budgeting and execution control

• Participating in the collection and consolidation of departmental budgets
• Monitoring expenses and ensuring compliance with approved plans

5. Regular management reporting

• Preparing monthly reports: P&L, KPI dashboards, profitability analysis
• Creating data visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

6. Process optimization

• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis and budgeting
• Strong knowledge of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
• Understanding of management accounting and budgeting principles
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or local accounting standards
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, macros)
• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, 1C ERP, etc.)
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret large data sets
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-organization and ability to multitask
