Reports To: Vice Principal / Nova Scotia Program Principal
Salary: Competitive, per CST salary grid

Position Summary

The Canadian School of Tashkent (CST) is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to explore music through performance, theory, and creativity. Instruction is in English and follows CST’s Canadian-aligned curriculum (Grades from 4 - 9).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in music theory, performance, and appreciation.

• Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students.

• Organize and support school performances, concerts, and musical events.

• Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in music education.

• Strong musicianship, classroom management, and communication skills.

• Fluency in English required;
