Expert on capacity development in the field of environmentally friendly procurement (GIZ project)

“ALTERRA TEAMS” LLC is seeking qualified candidates for participation in the GIZ Project: “Capacity Building of the Ministry of Economy on Green and Sustainable Public Procurement”

We are looking for a Key Expert 2 to support capacity development and training activities on Green and Sustainable Public Procurement (GPP).

Key Tasks:

• Conceptualisation and development of training curriculum and ToT delivery;
• Developing capacity-building materials and conducting ToT and practitioner trainings;
• Providing technical advisory services to buyer teams on specifications, total-cost evaluation and verification of supplier evidence;
• Ensuring close cooperation with Training Centre trainers, pilot authorities and business associations to maintain consistent, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in public procurement, public administration, or related fields.
• Languages: English – C1; Uzbek or Russian – B2 (as per CEFR).
• General experience: Minimum 5 years in public procurement, product environmental performance and costing.
• Specific experience: Minimum 5 years in curriculum development and delivery of ToT for government audiences.
• Regional experience: Minimum 2 years in Central Asia or Eastern Europe.
• Development Cooperation experience: Minimum 2 years working on DC projects.
