We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineering Lead to join our team at the Karshi GTL site. In this role, you will lead and support process engineering activities across Air Separation Units (ASU), Auto Thermal Reformers (ATR), and Hydrogen Production Units (HPU). You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations, while also driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning and start-up of new plants, ensuring a flawless transition to full operation.
- Provide expert process engineering support for ASU, ATR, and HPU technologies.
- Troubleshoot and optimize plant operations, driving timely resolution of performance issues.
- Guide and support junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Lead hazard studies, risk assessments, and process safety initiatives.
- Coordinate plant modifications, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Collaborate with controls and instrumentation teams to improve plant automation and control systems.
- Identify and implement opportunities for energy savings, capacity increases, and reliability improvements.
- Participate in turnarounds, shutdowns, and non-standard operations.
- Stay informed about current safety and engineering guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably in industrial gases or petrochemical sectors.
- Proven leadership in plant commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, control systems, and engineering standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic, diverse setting.
