Senior in FAAS department

Job Purpose:

• Providing support to the team in the development and implementation of accounting and reporting methodologies, including the preparation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures, as well as creating recommendations for improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with international standards (IFRS).
• Assisting in consultations on accounting process automation, including analyzing existing systems, developing recommendations for process optimization, and supporting in the implementation of new technologies to improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including the transformation of financial reports from NAS of Republic of Uzbekistan to IFRS.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of reporting standards, as well as in the development of procedures that contribute to improving the quality of reporting and accounting processes for clients.
• Business development and establishing long-term, reliable business relationships with clients.

Requirements:

• A university degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in financial principles and accounting practices;
• ACCA/CPA/DipIFR certificates (completed/ in progress)
• Excellent speaking and writing skills both in Russian and English languages; knowledge of Uzbek is a plus;
• 3-6 years of experience in auditing, accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS,
• Big4 experience at the same area will be a plus.

General Responsibilities:

• Development of accounting methodology (IFRS):

• Developing accounting methodology in accordance with IFRS, including the preparation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Developing accounting manuals, instructions, and other related documentation to support accounting practices.
• Designing and implementing methodologies for managerial accounting to enhance internal control and decision-making processes.
• Participation in transformation financial statement from NAS of Republic of Uzbekistan to IFRS and compilation of financial statements.
• Providing methodological support for projects aimed at automating accounting processes, ensuring they align with best practices and international standards
