Monitor legal changes and news which may have impact on company business.
Do legal research regarding to personal data protection, marketing compliance, IP, consumer protection, E-commerce compliance and any advanced legal issues which may be distributed by the manager.
Draft and review contracts, participate in negotiations with customers and customers.
Independently reply to consumer complaints and manage consumer cases which shall communicate with external law firms and colleagues in business department from time to time.
Handle all kinds of disputes during administrative and civil court cases.
Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time to fulfil the business needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees in law.
Has strong legal knowledge of Kazakhstan Civil law, Commercial law, Labor law, Competition law, personal data law, cybersecurity law, consumer protection legislation.
Min 2 years of post-qualification professional experience in a law firm or relevant corporate environment.
Fluency in English, Russian and Kazakh.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to work in an international team and develop effective working relations with colleagues.
Proactive and self-motivated to get hands-on challenges and work under pressure.
Proficiency in software and tools such as Microsoft Office, etc.
