Narrative Department Director Associate

G5 Games is a game developer and publisher headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2006 our company has become public and is listed on NASDAQ.

We create games in popular genres such as match-3, hidden object games, and mahjong solitaire. Our portfolio includes over 20 world-class projects, including Sherlock, Hidden City®, Mahjong Journey®, Homicide Squad®, Jewels series, and others.

We are currently looking for an experienced Narrative Department Director Associate to join one of our team.

What you will work on:

• Work on and implement department strategy;
• Conduct research in narrative design;
• Seek, develop, and implement successful new approaches to narrative design on f2p projects;
• Improve existing and implement new processes in the narrative department;
• Ensure effective interaction of the narrative department with other departments of the company;
• Find and train staff of the narrative department and evaluate the quality of their work.

It’s important to us:

• At least 2 years of experience in the gaming industry and a passion for games (preferably mobile).
• Excellent knowledge of the mobile games market.
• Advanced level of English (C1).
• Strong soft skills.
• Risk management skills.
• Strategic thinking.
• Ability and willingness to train specialists of various levels.
• Ability to create and maintain clear, functional documentation to support department operations.
• Strong organizational skills, both for personal work and team management.
• Ability to present and defend your ideas effectively.

Would be a great bonus:
