About the position
KT&G Global Kazakhstan is looking for Business Development Manager (Supervisor) in Kokshetau city, Kazakhstan. This role will be driving company's market presence and sales performance across assigned regions. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience in the tobacco or FMCG industry, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset.
What You'll Do:
- Market Expansion & Brand Visibility: You’ll audit and enhance KT&G’s brand presence by improving product availability, visibility, and assortment across various sales channels.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate on sales planning, oversee new product launches, and ensure the successful implementation of marketing programs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a regional field force, set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and deliver training to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Distributor Management: Maintain strong relationships with distributor branches, monitor their performance, and provide strategic guidance to boost sales.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market data, competitor activities, and sales reports to identify growth opportunities and optimize regional strategies.
- Partner Engagement: Negotiate with key partners (chains, wholesalers, tobacconists) to strengthen KT&G’s market position and foster loyalty.
Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with tobacco/FMCG markets and regional market dynamics.
- Skills: Strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in sales information systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
