We are seeking a Director of Financial Architecture - not a traditional finance head, but a strategic system builder. This is a high-autonomy, high-precision leadership role for someone who can reimagine the entire financial backbone of a multi-entity, multi-reality ecosystem.

THE ROLE

You will lead the creation and ongoing transformation of Autotelic’s financial architecture across commercial ventures, cultural institutions, foundations, and physical destinations. You will define the flows, constraints, permissions, and intelligence layers that shape how capital moves and how decisions are made.

This role requires intellectual rigor, ethical commitment, technological fluency, and a deep respect for creativity. You will operate as both a system steward and a strategic partner to the CEO and the board.

MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES

1. Strategic and Architectural Design

• Architect financial models that are non-linear, modular, and adaptive to growth and ambiguity.
• Co-create capital deployment strategies - equity, grant, investment that support long-range autonomy.
• Build integrated models across real estate, immersive tech, AI-native infrastructure, cultural production, and IP monetization.
• Design investor financial narratives with clarity, minimalism, and precision.

2. AI-Native Infrastructure

• Build a fully digital finance core: intelligent reporting, automated compliance, real-time scenario modeling.
• Replace static budgets with dynamic flows - automated, conditional, and learnable.
• Establish cross-entity visibility: permission-based dashboards, localized control, global oversight.
• Ensure data is live, clean, actionable, and secure across all touchpoints.

3. Governance & Global Compliance

• Operate across complex jurisdictions (UAE, France, UK, Russia) with fluency in international law, tax optimization, and audit.
• Set up and maintain entities, JV frameworks, grant pathways, and hybrid governance models (commercial + nonprofit).
• Build systems that ensure internal integrity, external legitimacy, and future-proof compliance.

4. Cultural Leadership

• Make finance intuitive and elegant for non-financial teams.
• Translate accounting into storytelling; reporting into decision-making; models into ethics.
• Build a financial culture based on transparency, trust, sovereignty, and regenerative value.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years in senior finance roles (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent)
• Proven track record in multi-entity, international environments
• Deep fluency in digital finance tools, automated workflows, and real-time reporting
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, across both structured and emergent ventures
• Executive-level communication skills: written, visual, and interpersonal
• Fluent in Russian and English is a must
• Location: Dubai, UAE only

Preferred Traits

• Experience with hybrid governance models (nonprofit + commercial)
• Familiarity with AI-enabled finance, DAO structures, or digital treasury tools
• Background in immersive industries (gaming, culture, architecture, or art)
• System-thinking mindset with a design-based approach to financial models
