Working: Remotely, as part of an international team

Responsibilities:

• Map existing data flows between Russia/CIS and the EU;
• Develop a compliant data export and handling framework under GDPR and Russian Law 152-FZ;
• Define lawful bases, documentation templates, and consent mechanisms for data collection and export;
• Draft internal policies, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
• Establish retention, security, and disposal protocols for localized and EU-hosted data;
• Support operational teams in implementing compliant transfer mechanisms;
• Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure GDPR-aligned safeguards;
• Advise on regulatory obligations under GDPR and CIS data laws;
• Monitor legal updates and assess impacts on COREX operations;
• Develop and deliver training materials and awareness programs;
• Maintain records of processing activities and transfer logs;
• Prepare COREX for potential client or regulatory audits.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years in data protection or compliance roles within EU or CIS jurisdictions;
• Experience with GDPR implementation in healthcare or logistics sectors;
• Knowledge of Russian Law 152-FZ and data export compliance;
• Degree in Law, Information Governance, Compliance, or related field. Advanced qualification (CIPP/E, CIPM, GDPR Practitioner Certificate) preferred;
• Deep understanding of GDPR (Articles 3, 28, 32, 44–49);
• Familiarity with CIS data protection laws and Roskomnadzor practices;
• Knowledge of encryption and ISO 27001 controls;
• Fluent English.
