The AIFC Authority is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Manager (Contract Manager) to lead and oversee contracting services. This strategic role is critical to ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of Goods, Works, and Services that support AIFCA’s operational and business objectives.
Operating under the supervision of the Director of the Procurement Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing contract lifecycle processes, developing internal policies, and ensuring alignment with AIFCA’s regulatory framework and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business requirements.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring the Company’s interests are protected and risks are mitigated.
- Collaborate with internal departments to incorporate feedback and ensure clarity in contractual terms.
- Ensure proper execution, registration, and archiving of contracts in accordance with internal policies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contract-related documentation and correspondence.
- Manage contracts using electronic workflow systems (e.g., Directum or equivalent platforms).
- Create and maintain vendor profiles and contract data in the ERP system.
- Contribute to the development of internal guidelines, instructions, and rules related to contract management.
- Ensure confidentiality, safety, and compliance in all procurement documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to AIFC’s internal policies, regulations, and applicable legislation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of the Procurement Department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Management.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in contract management, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Professional certifications in Contract Management or procurement-related training are preferred.
