Confirm system and sub-system boundaries and own their content
Act as the “Project Manager” for assigned systems, developing and stewarding execution plans and procedures
Define and communicate changes in risk profile throughout the system lifecycle
Interface with Power Operations, Base Business, Projects, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure alignment
Drive systems across MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases
Act as Person in Charge (PIC) for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities if necessary
Coordinate all commissioning activities and ensure subsystem readiness for RFSU/PSSR/CSA walkdowns
Drive completion of B and C check sheets and energization milestones
Ensure achievement of RFSU/RFO target dates and milestones/waypoints
Input and prepare LUNs and RFSU/RFO exceptions
Raise change notices in iPIMS and maintain document libraries
Review and comment on procedures relevant to system execution
Drive construction to close punch list items and attend MC and RFSU walkdowns
Prioritize punch list closure based on startup sequence and coordinate messaging across system owners
Ensure all documentation is closed out and submitted to database power users
Prepare weekly progress reports and lead Blue Zone meetings
Lead development of Systems Completion and related to SC strategies and plans for assigned sub-system and Project
Assists with development of overall Systems Completion Execution Plans
Ensures compliance with Ethics policies, adheres to Project Execution Procedures
Ensures compliance with Certification Process and adherence to the Systems Execution Plans
Supports development of project planning deliverables by providing expertise for input to Project Systems Completion Strategy, Systems Completion Specifications and Systems Completion Plan
Executing the schedule of Mechanical Completions (MCs), Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Handover to Operations and Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSRs)
Understanding the SC PTW (Systems Completion Permit to Work), verification of Regulatory Affair RA ACTs and Industrial Safety Requirements
Accountable for delivering schedule, completion of the check sheets, and closure of the punch list items to meet the RA and RFSU deadline, provide verification data and priorities and delivery of the subsystems
Follow all work processes and procedures, such as System Completion strategy document, Walkdown & Punch List Procedure, SC MOC, Redline Mark-Up procedure
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for systemization of responsible areas
Responsible for development and implementation of Commissioning Procedures in all areas
Responsible for stewarding resource to complete all aspects of site execution for all areas (manpower, isolations, timing)
Directly stewards Contractor and Company resources in assigned area to complete work
Reviews and comments on key deliverables on assigned projects; including commissioning sequence, systems completion strategy
Ensures system completion and team readiness for activities, and be a critical on-call support resource when activities commence
Identifies project issues / risks related to Systems Completions and drive resolution
Responsible for review and categorization of punch list items, completion of B-QVDs (B-ITRs) and C-QVDs (C-ITRs)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum of 5+ years of experience
Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with systems completion databases
