Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lessons that combine traditional art techniques (drawing, painting, sculpture) with digital media (illustration, graphic design, animation).
Integrate art history and theory to provide context and inspiration.
Teach foundational and advanced skills in various media, including charcoal, watercolor, acrylics, and clay.
Instruct students in using digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software.
Foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression in a supportive, inclusive classroom.
Maintain a safe, organized studio and media lab.
Stay updated on current trends in both traditional and digital art.
Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, exhibitions, and school events.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Proficiency in both traditional and digital art techniques.
Teaching experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with animation, 3D modeling, or video editing is an advantage.
Knowledge of art history, contemporary movements, and digital photography.
