Job Title:

Business Development
(Mechanical Engineering – Oil & Gas Sector)

Company Overview:

We are a leading Mechanical Engineering & Industrial Services company specializing in fabrication, maintenance, and repair solutions for the oil & gas and heavy engineering sectors. We are expanding our presence and seeking a professional candidate to support business growth, vendor registration, and client coordination.

Role Summary:

The candidate will act as a key link between the company and clients, responsible for introducing our services, coordinating internal and external communications, handling vendor registrations, acquiring RFQs, and supporting negotiations to attract business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication & Representation

  • Meet and interact with clients in the oil & gas / industrial sector.

  • Present and introduce company services, capabilities, and solutions.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

2. Coordination & Follow-Up

  • Coordinate between internal technical/fabrication teams and clients.

  • Ensure clear communication of client requirements, timelines, and feedback.

  • Assist in preparing presentations, quotations, and proposals.

3. Vendor Registration & RFQ Management

  • Handle vendor registrations with major oil & gas companies and EPC contractors.

  • Track and follow up on vendor approval status.

  • Identify opportunities and secure RFQs (Request for Quotation) from clients and procurement portals.

4. Negotiation & Business Support

  • Participate in meetings and support negotiation of commercial terms (under management guidance).

  • Follow up on submitted offers, tenders, and contracts.

5. Translation & Documentation

  • Translate documents, emails, and technical communication from local language to English.

  • Draft professional emails, letters, and reports in English.

  • Support in documentation for tenders and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written) – mandatory.

  • Translation capability (Local Language ↔ English).

  • Experience in client coordination / business development / sales support preferred.

  • Basic understanding of engineering or industrial business is an added advantage.

  • Ability to negotiate, build relationships, and acquire business leads.

  • Knowledge/experience in vendor registration, tendering, or procurement is a strong plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and follow-up skills.

  • Willingness to travel and meet clients when required.
