Could you be the full-time Overhead Controller in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your financial analysis and cost control expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including site management, budget owners, and global finance teams), manage cost reporting and analysis, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of cost control, month-end closing, and forecasting, but also support CAPEX management and handle purchase requisitions.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparing expense summary packs at site level for Actuals, Forecast, and Budget
Controlling and reporting costs for all functions and site management
Performing variance analysis and providing commentary in monthly reports
Managing month-end closing activities, including accruals and provisions
Supporting Budget and Forecast cycles and preparing hourly rate analyses
Reviewing purchase requisitions and managing workflows for budget availability
Controlling CAPEX expenses and preparing summaries for Actual/Budget/Forecast
Participating in site meetings and supporting audits
Handling ad hoc requests and intercompany transactions

Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or any relevant discipline
5+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting processes and systems
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of SAP is a plus)
Fluent in English
Strong business acumen and experience in complex multinational organizations
Previous experience in accounting roles (AP, AR, CM, Treasury, GL, CL)
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational ability
Positive and proactive attitude, with resilience under pressure
Attention to detail and task-oriented mindset
Comfort with financial data and the ability to transform it into clear, concise messages
Experience with advanced tools (e.g., SAP, Teranga, Qlikview, Polaris, Power Automate, Power Query) is a plus
