Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, implement, and optimize workflow automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform. You will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business process requirements into efficient, scalable, and maintainable BPMN, DMN.
Role Insights:
- Develop and Maintain Process Models: Design and implement BPMN 2.0, DMN, and, if needed, CMMN models in Camunda.
- Integrate Systems: Build and manage integrations between Camunda and external systems via REST APIs, Java delegates, or external task workers.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business units, process owners, and IT teams to understand automation requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Optimize Workflows: Analyze and enhance existing process definitions for performance, reusability, and clarity.
- Support Deployment and Runtime Operations: Assist with process deployments, error handling, logging, and monitoring via Camunda Cockpit and other tools.
- Contribute to Architecture Decisions: Provide technical input on Camunda implementation strategies, architecture, and platform evolution.
- Ensure Best Practices: Adhere to secure coding practices, coding standards, and testing procedures (unit, integration, end-to-end).
- Document Solutions: Create and maintain clear technical documentation of workflows, integrations, and APIs.
What Makes You Unique:
- Over 3 years of professional experience developing Java-based applications, with strong expertise in Spring Boot and enterprise-level backend development.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust microservices and RESTful APIs, ensuring scalable and maintainable integrations.
- Hands-on experience with the Camunda Platform (7 & 8), applying Java for process automation, workflow orchestration, and custom service implementations.
- Strong background in BPMN 2.0 modeling and process-driven application design, using Java to extend and optimize business workflows.
- Skilled in SQL and database integration within Java applications, guaranteeing efficient data persistence and reliable system behavior.
- Proficient with modern DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, enabling consistent delivery of high-quality Java solutions.
- Exposure to cloud-based deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems like Kafka.
