Senior Associate (Corporate and M&A)

Centil Law Firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join our Corporate and M&A practice in Almaty for a full-time position. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects in a dynamic regional team of experienced lawyers.

What you will do:

• Lead M&A and joint venture transactions: draft and negotiate purchase, shareholder, option, pledge, guarantee and related agreements; actively negotiate with clients, counterparties, notaries, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Work on projects involving corporate restructurings, reorganizations and liquidations.
• Manage and coordinate projects, including supervising juniors and preparing reports.
• Draft memoranda, corporate documents, resolutions and other legal instruments.
• Mentor junior lawyers, assistants and interns.

What we expect:

• Law degree from a leading university in Kazakhstan (foreign education is an advantage).
• At least 5 years of experience in an international law firm or consulting company.
• Excellent command of Russian and English; Kazakh is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, business-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
