Your daily routine would include:
Thoroughly analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to understand product functionality;
Execute manual testing across different platforms, performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing based on project needs;
Use browser developer tools for in-depth analysis and troubleshooting;
Ensure applications meet the defined requirements and document any gaps or discrepancies;
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and address issues;
Develop comprehensive test cases that clearly outline testing scenarios and expected outcomes;
Report issues and defects with clear, reproducible steps, and follow up on their resolution;
Prepare and maintain test documentation to capture lessons learned and best practices.
We’ll know you can make it if you have:
At least 1 year of experience in Manual Testing;
Strong focus on spotting inconsistencies and potential defects;
Ability to write structured, reproducible problem tickets and convey issues effectively in English (both written and verbal;
Familiarity with tools like JIRA for logging and managing defects;
“Bug Hunter” Mindset: Creative in uncovering edge cases and thoroughly testing all aspects of the system;
Knowledge of Postman or SoapUI for validating APIs;
Familiarity with Chrome/Firefox DevTools for frontend debugging;
Basic SQL: Ability to perform basic database queries to validate backend data;
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS, Android) and using emulators/simulators will be considered as a plus;
Exposure to tools like Kibana for server log monitoring and analysis.
