Regulatory Affairs Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Manager to join a leading international FMCG company operating across Kazakhstan and Central Asia. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive regulatory strategy and ensure compliance for innovative food and beverage products in fast-growing markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the regulatory expert for the company's operations in Kazakhstan and BCCA region.

• Ensure compliance with local and regional food legislation (manufacturing, labeling, claims, packaging, market access).

• Support innovation projects and new product development with clear regulatory guidance.

• Monitor regulatory changes and lead implementation across multiple markets.

• Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities and represent the company in industry associations.

• Lead regulatory response during audits, product recalls, or incidents.

Support the development of regulatory frameworks for new categories

Requirements:

• Higher education in Food Technology, Nutrition, Life Sciences, Law, or similar (Master's/PhD is a plus).

• 5+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, ideally within an FMCG/Food company.

• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan and Central Asia’s regulatory environment.

• Fluent in Russian and Kazakh, with Upper-Intermediate English.

• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience working with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
