We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager – Business Development (Cybersecurity) to drive growth in our cybersecurity services and solutions portfolio. The role involves developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and collaborating with technical teams to position the organization as a trusted cybersecurity partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the cybersecurity domain (advisory, audit, managed security services, compliance, etc.).
- Develop go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity offerings in line with organizational goals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling client proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and presentations.
- Achieve revenue, pipeline, and margin targets.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong CXO-level relationships across industries.
- Act as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, Regional Data Privacy Act, etc.), and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaboration & Solutioning
- Work closely with delivery and pre-sales teams to design client-specific cybersecurity solutions.
- Partner with marketing to conduct webinars, thought leadership campaigns, and industry events.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to refine offerings.
- Strategic Growth
- Identify partnerships, alliances, and OEM relationships to strengthen the cybersecurity portfolio.
- Track emerging technologies (cloud security, OT/ICS security, data privacy, red teaming, SOC) to align with client demand.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–10 years of business development/sales experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity or IT services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, Reginal Compliance Mandates, etc.).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in B2B enterprise accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and translate client needs into solutions.
Preferred Certifications (Good to Have)
- CISM, CISSP, CISA (for credibility in client discussions).
- Sales certifications from cybersecurity OEMs (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Microsoft Security, etc.).
