• Develop and maintain the data governance framework and data policies;
• Coordinate activities related to data governance boards and data stewardship;
• Monitor compliance with data governance policies and standards across the organization;
• Support data integration and migration projects by ensuring governance practices are followed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in data governance, preferably in a large enterprise;
• Familiarity with data governance tools and platforms, including experience with Informatica;
• Experience in the oil and gas industry will be a plus.

• Data Stewardship: Knowledge of data stewardship principles and practices, enabling effective management of data assets;
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and experience ensuring data compliance across multiple jurisdictions;
• Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills to work across departments to implement data governance policies;
• Documentation: Proficient in documenting processes and policies clearly and comprehensively for internal and external compliance.
