A subsidiary of Emiral Resources, Alliance for Mining, is looking for a Head of HR & Administration to join our team in Port Sudan. Emiral Resources is an international group of companies engaged in mining exploration and production in various parts of Africa (the Republic of the Sudan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania) that offers proven expertise in the mining value chain from mineral exploration, production, operation, advisory, and also engineering for mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local laws and standards.
- Oversee employment contracts, HR records, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Manage expatriate HR processes, including visas, work permits, medical checks, and rotation logistics.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation for local and expatriate staff.
- Prepare and monitor the HR budget.
- Supervise HR and administrative teams, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Maintain relations with labor authorities and support resolution of labor disputes.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience; exposure to Africa, Asia, or Latin America is an advantage.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
