We are looking for a specialist in international law who can provide comprehensive legal support for a rapidly growing IT business. Your main task will be to ensure the company’s legal security, including GDPR compliance, deal structuring, tax matters, and launching businesses in various jurisdictions

Responsibilities

  • Legal support for IT projects: Ranging from consulting on international law specifics to developing GDPR and local regulatory compliance strategies in each country where we operate.
  • Contract work: Drafting, reviewing, and refining service agreements, partnership contracts, NDAs, as well as participating in negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial terms.
  • Setting up and running businesses in different jurisdictions: Coordinating the registration process, advising on optimal corporate structures, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with internal departments: Providing legal guidance to colleagues in other divisions (e.g., developers, marketing), overseeing key legal aspects of our operations.
  • Tax matters and risk management: Assessing potential risks (including financial, regulatory, etc.), participating in the development of risk management systems, and advising on international taxation issues.
  • Document management: Maintaining up-to-date, well-organized records of all legal documents.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in international law: having successful cases in the IT sector is a major advantage.
  • Experience in consulting or Big 4 (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) is desirable.
  • Practical knowledge of GDPR, fundamentals of international taxation, and corporate law.
  • Proficient in Russian and English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher; the ability to articulate thoughts clearly in both spoken and written form.
  • Excellent analytical skills, the ability to work with large amounts of information, and to identify key risks.
