Startup PR Manager

We are looking for a passionate PR Manager who will drive communication and promotion of the entire startup ecosystem of IT Park. This role is about more than just media relations — it’s about building stories, creating impact, and showcasing the achievements of Uzbek startups to the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relations with local and regional media.

• Select and engage media partners for each event and project.

• Monitor the information field and distribute materials across media channels.

• Attract media to IT Park’s events and organize interviews.

• Write PR materials (press releases, success stories, interviews) and prepare briefs for freelance authors.

• Create engaging content for media, digital platforms, and IT Park’s own channels.

• Support PR campaigns for product launches, competitions, and startup initiatives.

• Coordinate information campaigns with partners, accelerators, investors, and government bodies.

• Generate newsworthy content and highlight startup achievements.

• Provide PR support for hackathons, startup forums, demo days, delegations, and other offline/online events.

• Develop media plans, prepare media kits, and work with journalists for maximum coverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in PR and communications (preferably in tech, startups, or innovation).

• Excellent knowledge of the Uzbek media market and understanding of the IT ecosystem.

• Strong writing skills: press releases, articles, interviews, and startup success stories.

• Proven ability to build communications with journalists, bloggers, opinion leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders.

• Understanding of PR specifics in startups and innovative products.

• Crisis PR and reputation management experience (a plus).

• Fluency in Russian, Uzbek, and English.

• Independence, initiative, stress resistance, ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
