Andersen is hiring a Junior Full-Stack QA for a German FinTech project. The role focuses on testing API microservices and improving integration to support digital transformation in insurance. A 50/50 split between Manual and Automation tasks.
The customer is a world leader in insurance and B2B2C support, which offers global solutions that span international health and life insurance, travel insurance, cars, and their service. The company is dedicated to delivering world-class, agile, and sustainable IT solutions, driving full-spectrum digitalization.
The project is focused on developing API microservices aligned with the Insurance reference architecture. It also includes testing the hypothesis of creating a universal adapter to connect consumers with different backends, with the broader goal of expanding connectivity across markets.
Responsibilities:
- Creating new E2E API autotests and supporting existing ones.
- Conducting Feature Testing (manual).
- Maintaining automated E2E regression runs - setup and results analysis.
- Creating checklists and test scenarios.
- Working with service documentation and specification in OpenAPI format.
- Creating and maintaining test data using API and dedicated service.
- Validating incoming bugs: reproducing, investigation, clarification.
- Extending and maintaining custom QA libraries.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a QA Automation Engineer for 6+ months.
- Strong REST API knowledge (definition, principles, purpose).
- Experience with Java 11.
- Experience in working with Postman.
- Knowledge of test artifacts and test design techniques.
- Understanding of bugs (definition, attributes, lifecycle, difference with Incidents).
- Common knowledge of Scrum ceremonies and feature lifecycle.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
