Data Engineer

Requirements

- English: B2/С1

- Profile education and relevant experience: 3+ years of experience in one or more areas: Data Engineering, Data Science, BI Development.

- Practice in projects with real customers (from prototype to production).

-Ability to explain results and demonstrate them in an understandable form.

Technical skills
- Data Engineering

- SQL (optimization, complex queries, partitioning).

- ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow/Glue/Prefect).

- AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, IAM, KMS, VPC).

- Experience with MongoDB, Parquet, Spark/PySpark.

-Monitoring and data quality skills (CloudWatch, validation rules, schema drift).

- Data Science / Analytics

- Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn; experience in EDA, ML, statistics).

- Experience with Bayesian Statistics and Monte Carlo Simulation.

- Data modeling and forecasting skills.

-Ability to work with Excel as a modeling tool (formulas, add-ins).

- BI / Reporting

- Power BI (deep knowledge of DAX, calculated groups, optimization).

- Ability to use DAX Studio, Tabular Editor.

- Skill in building interactive dashboards (QuickSight, Power BI).

- Portfolio of ready dashboards (with data anonymization).

Soft Skills

- Readiness to write code during an interview (SQL/DAX/Python).

- Ability to work with external tools for optimization and debugging.

- Skill in demonstrating and defending solutions to the client.

Nice to have

- Experience with real-time pipelines (Kafka/Kinesis).

- Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault.

- Experience with MLOps/DataOps.
