Andersen is hiring a Product Owner for a project with a Kazakh bank. The role focuses on creating a unified loyalty system to enhance rewards, personalization, and customer engagement across banking products.

The customer is one of the leading commercial banks in Kazakhstan. The bank's main areas of activity are corporate and retail banking. It also actively participates in the securities market and currency operations in Kazakhstan. The customer has a network of branches and offices throughout the Republic, serving more than 100,000 legal entities and 1.5 million individuals.

The project is an initiative to build a unified system for managing loyalty programs, aimed at consolidating reward, bonus, and customer engagement mechanisms across all product lines – including cards, loans, deposits, ecosystem services, and the mobile app.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining the overall product vision and setting program goals and KPIs.
  • Conducting competitor analysis and researching market best practices.
  • Preparing the product roadmap.
  • Writing product requirements (user stories, epics, acceptance criteria).
  • Managing the backlog and prioritizing tasks.
  • Collaborating with development, UX/UI, analytics, and marketing teams, facilitating grooming sessions and participating in sprints.
  • Working with legal, compliance, and finance teams on accruals, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing integrations with core banking systems (ABS), mobile apps, CDP/CRM platforms, and external partners (e.g., partner programs).
  • Evaluating program performance: MAU, user activity, redemption rate, ARPU uplift, etc.
  • Developing personalized offer mechanisms.
  • Continuously improving and scaling the loyalty program.
  • Preparing and overseeing go-live stages, processing user feedback, and launching A/B tests.
  • Providing post-release support and adjusting program mechanics as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in loyalty program development and launch projects within banking or fintech for 5+ years.
  • Solid understanding of core loyalty models: cashback, points, tiers, referral programs, gamification, and personalized offers.
  • Experience working with data-driven products: knowing how to use analytics to shape offers and segment customers.
  • Skills in collecting, formalizing, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, analysts, developers, marketing, and legal teams.
  • Experience launching end-to-end digital products – from concept to post-release support.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice to have:

  • Experience implementing loyalty programs in mobile banking apps or eCommerce, familiarity with CDP/CRM platforms, and experience integrating with ecosystem services.
