Develop and review HVAC design deliverables (calculations, specifications, layouts, equipment data sheets, and material requisitions) in line with project requirements.
Adapt international design standards to Republic of Kazakhstan (RoK) norms and codes (SP, SNiP, ST RK, SanPiN, Fire Safety regulations, etc.).
Perform HVAC load calculations, duct/pipe sizing, and system selection for industrial facilities (process buildings, substations, control rooms, auxiliary facilities).
Review and adjust HVAC system calculations (thermal loads, airflow, duct sizing, ventilation balance, etc.) according to RoK methodologies.
Modify layouts, equipment specifications, and material selections to align with RoK construction standards and market availability.
Prepare adaptation drawings, explanatory notes, and technical reports for HVAC systems.
Adaptation & Localization
Adapt international Contractor’s HVAC design documentation to Republic of Kazakhstan (RoK) codes, norms, and standards (SN RK, SP, ST RK, SanPiN, Fire Safety regulations).
Ensure compliance with local climate, seismic, and sanitary requirements in HVAC design for industrial facilities.
Translate and prepare design deliverables in a format suitable for submission to Client.
Coordination & Compliance
Interface with the Contractor and Vendor to ensure proper localization of design deliverables.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Electrical, Piping, Fire Protection) to ensure integrated design solutions.
Coordinate with the Contractor/Vendor to resolve discrepancies between international standards and RoK requirements.
Support design review meetings, HAZOPs, and constructability reviews.
