Project Manager

The IT company Andersen is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the development phase of the ambitious project and ensure the successful delivery of the platform.

The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s leading airlines. Its network includes major carriers that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of travel-related merchants worldwide, covering air, rail, cruise, and agency payments. The platform also enables airlines to accept a wide range of payment methods, including alternative forms of payment, through integrated processing partners that operate within the customer’s network.

The project is a critical new payment platform, designed to provide a unified, efficient, and secure payment processing solution for airlines. The project involves integrating with multiple Payment Service Providers (PSPs), alternative payment methods (APMs), risk management tools, loyalty systems, and providing advanced analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the end-to-end development and delivery of the platform.
• Applying Agile methodologies to manage planning, execution, and delivery processes effectively.
• Managing complex IT projects.
• Collaborating with the client, internal development teams, architects, BAs, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Must-haves:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for 5+ years.
• Experience in the successful implementation of complex software development projects.
• Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), preferably with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks for large, multi-team environments.
• Ability to understand technical concepts, software architecture, and development processes to effectively communicate with technical teams.
• Experience in the fintech, payments, or financial services industry is highly desirable.
• Experience managing projects with a significant integration component and third-party dependencies.
• Experience with cloud-based projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
