Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping – posting of all accounting entries to the accounting system;
- Posting of banking transactions, loan and equity movements entries;
- Posting of accruals, payables & receivables, Capex, Opex, G&A, depreciation calculation, deferred tax and other expenditures;
- Year End closing entries and financial statements preparation;
- Preparation of financial statements and reports;
- Maintain the audits;
- Accounting reconciliation activities;
- Preparation of Statistical reports;
- Calculation of taxes and other obligatory payments to RoK budget, timely filing and compliance;
- Preparing responses to the tax correspondence on a timely manner;
- Advise on Kazakhstan Tax matters;
- Tax review of the contracts from the RoK tax legislation perspective;
- Compliance with the Company’s Tax Policy and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
- Higher education in finance or accounting.
- 5 years’ experience in tax, including working knowledge of Kazakh tax law.
- Accounting and Tax Professional Certification in accordance with RoK legislation.
Required Competencies and Skills:
- Verbal and written working knowledge of English
- Excellent knowledge of computerized accounting system including 1C
- Ability to liaise effectively with local and fiscal authorities
- Knowledge of general RoK appliable legislation
- Accuracy, Team leader skills
- Capability to work with PC, MS office programs.
Working Conditions:
Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, when required.
