Senior QA Automation (Java)

Our client is an innovative and agile learning and media company impacting the lives of millions every day.

We are looking for a senior QA engineer responsible for test automation (50%) and manual testing (50%).

Candidates must be located within the GDPR zone (EU or UK).

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain automated test scripts: develop and maintain automated test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Framework development: design and implement automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.
• Develop test strategies: collaborate with the QA team and stakeholders to define the overall test automation strategy and roadmap.
• Execute test scripts: run automated test scripts on different environments and platforms, ensuring that the software behaves as expected across all scenarios.
• Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines: integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback on code changes.

Required experience and skills:

Must have skills

• 6+ years of experience: UI — Java + Selenium + Junit5.
• 6+ years of experience: back-end — Java + REST Assured.
• CI/CD (Jenkins / Bitbucket) & Pipelines.
• Git.
• Very good knowledge of English language (B2+).
• Very good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communicator among team members.

Nice-to-have requirements

• AWS Cloud Experience.
• Containerization and management tools (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes) experience, ability to understand the basic way of how it works, what is a pod, deployment, container etc.
