Senior Unity Developer

Andersen is hiring a Senior Unity Developer for a fintech project in Uzbekistan. The role involves building a 3D eco-simulator game that gamifies financial services, allowing users to earn rewards and develop their virtual environment.

The customer is a leading fintech company in Uzbekistan with over 20 million users. Founded in 2011, it has grown into a multifunctional platform that offers payments, transfers, utilities, loans, and lifestyle services in one application. With strong growth, thousands of partners, and a major regional partnership, it is recognized as a market leader in digital financial services.

The project is the development of an innovative 3D mobile game in the eco-simulator and farming genre, designed to introduce gamification into the core processes of the main application.

Responsibilities:

• Building the architecture of the client-side of the project in Unity from scratch.
• Participating in designing the client–server interaction architecture (in collaboration with backend developers).
• Mentoring and guiding future Unity developers in the team.
• Developing core and meta mechanics, managing complex game systems.
• UI layout and optimization: complex interfaces, windows, navigation, usability
• Working with 3D content, animations, and effects, including integration and optimization.
• Scaling the project and preparing it for increased loads.
• Contributing to product decisions alongside the game designer and producer.

Must-haves:

• Commercial Unity development experience for 5+ years.
• Deep knowledge of C#, understanding of architectural patterns and best practices (SOLID, MVC/MVVM, ECS approaches).
• Experience releasing at least 3 mobile games (iOS + Android) as a lead Unity developer.
• Skills in designing and maintaining architecture for large-scale game projects.
• Experience in performance optimization (FPS, memory, build size).
• Proficiency with Git, understanding of CI/CD principles, experience with build automation.
• Hands-on experience with 3D content, Addressables, AssetBundles, Profiler.
• Ability to take ownership of technical quality and product outcomes.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with game mechanics in farming, simulation, strategy, or economic games.
• Understanding of free-to-play monetization, analytics, and A/B testing.
• Experience integrating game SDKs (analytics, monetization, push notifications, ads).
• Experience leading a team or mentoring developers.
• Extensive gaming experience and interest in mobile games.
