Tax Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Supervisor to join our Finance team in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, supporting tax audits, preparing tax filings, and providing support on various tax-related matters across the organization. This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns (e.g. corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, property tax, etc.) in accordance with local regulations.
• Support the preparation and review of tax provisions in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities on tax audits, inquiries, and rulings.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the potential impact on the company.
• Support transfer pricing compliance, including documentation and intercompany transaction reviews.
• Assist with tax reporting during month-end and year-end closings.
• Collaborate with accounting, legal, supply chain, and other departments to ensure tax compliance in business processes.
• Participate in tax planning initiatives and ad-hoc tax projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A tax or accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, ADIT) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tax, preferably in a multinational or pharmaceutical company or a Big 4 firm.
• Solid knowledge of local tax legislation and international tax principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and tax reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
