ROLE TITLE: Portfolio Risk manager (MFO / Microfinance / Credit Cards)

DEPARTMENT: Risk

REPORTS TO: CRO

LOCATION: Spain, Barcelona

ROLE PURPOSE:

- As senior portfolio risk manager (MFO / microfinance / credit cards product), you will join MFO Group (Spain) to ensure efficiency of risk strategy for the product.

- Directly reporting to Global Chief Risk Officer and Country Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy chosen and revolving credits portfolio performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the credit risk strategy and appetite across the revolving credit portfolio in Spain

- Monitor and ensure revolving credits portfolio performance to budgeted levels

- Initiate improvements of underwriting procedures for the product making data driven decisions

- Initiate implementation of new data sources for credit decision making with proving efficiency

- Closely work with Product team to develop strategy, including identifying new market opportunities in Spain

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Strong understanding of credit and financial risk

- Excellent understanding of credit policy governance with the ability to implement defense procedures

- Excellent ability to understand and interpret data and make data-driven decisions

- High SQL skills

- Tableau (as a plus)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- English: Intermediate level or above (working proficiency)

- At least 3-5 years in portfolio management experience
