Logistics specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The role involves managing transportation, customs clearance, and documentation processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and update truck movement reports, including status changes from transit to warehouse delivery.

• Send and follow up on pre-alerts with customs brokers for clearance preparations.

• Manage transport corridors and oversee corrected customs declarations.

• Lead and maintain effective collaboration with customs brokers, including providing feedback and managing selection processes.

• Ensure timely submission of company charter document updates to customs authorities.

• Support and accompany authorities during customs audits, handling requests and corrective measures.

• Prepare and send reports on trucks to logistics service providers.

• Verify inbound information and update shipment status to warehouse delivery.

• Plan and manage payments related to value-added tax and customs duties.

• Upload and maintain transport data tables.

• Prepare export documents for customers.

• Handle certification processes, including customs documentation, goods receipt, and write-offs.

• Monitor key performance indicators related to demurrage.

• Process documentation for inbound damages and collaborate with internal departments.

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or customs operations.

• Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• English Knowledge at least intermediate level.

• Proficiency in working with logistics documentation and reporting systems.
