As an Experienced Audit Assistant, you will:
- Audit Preparation: Review previous audits to understand client-specific processes and tailor the audit approach accordingly.
- Record Verification: Check client records against bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Asset Validation: Confirm the existence and accuracy of listed assets.
- Supplier Confirmation: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of client supplier lists.
- Stock-Take Review: Examine the client’s stock-taking methods and perform sample stock-takes to validate records.
- Internal Controls Testing: Assess the effectiveness of the client’s internal processes and controls.
- Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, highlight key issues, and present final accounts to clients.
- Team Supervision: Guide and supervise junior members of the audit team during projects.
You’re the perfect match for this role if you:
- Have 1-3 years of experience in economics, finance, accounting, or audit.
- Are proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level to handle client communication and documentation.
- Possess strong analytical skills and logical thinking with attention to detail.
- Can multitask, work under tight deadlines, and manage complex projects.
- Are a strong team player, willing to learn and develop within the field of audit.
- Have excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Are open to business travel and willing to work full-time.
