Senior QA Manual Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our team at IDT Corporation. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will contribute to the Retail Billing team to help ensure the quality of one of the most important retailer services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios for frontend and services using different testing tools.

  • Ability to evaluate expected functionality against specifications / requirements.
  • Ability to identify system bottlenecks with strong troubleshooting, problem solving & reasoning skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the integration touch points and execute integration/end to end tests.
  • Work closely with developers to get features tested as part of a scrum team.
  • Proactive approach in developing test strategy and plans for features being implemented.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to automated tests in existing Java/C# based framework.
  • Support production releases and perform post release testing.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing (web UI and API) with knowledge of automation.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methods such as regression, integration and end to end testing on QA/UAT environments.
  • Exposure to database technologies such as Oracle, MongoDB (ability to query the DBs to validate fields).
  • Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as postman, swagger.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to check applications logs using monitoring tools, basic Linux commands.
  • UI or API automated testing using Java/C# BDD based or similar test frameworks.
  • Exposure to CI/CD, AWS, docker containerization is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
