Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our automotive spare parts trading company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the end-of-month financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role is critical in providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1 ) Monthly Financial Close:

Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and timely.

Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

Ensure all general ledger accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

2)Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into company performance.

Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

3)Account Reconciliation:

Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other key accounts.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliations.

4)Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.

Monitor budget variances and report on significant deviations from planned performance.

5)Internal Controls:

Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, and recommend improvements where necessary.

6) Compliance and Audit:

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

7) Responsible for 4 legal entities . 2 legal entities for trading, and 2 legal entities for managing asset portfolio

8) Manage a team of two accountants

9)Responsible for ERP accounting implementation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting , and Or related accreditations (CPA)

Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior accounting role.
