Medical Affairs Manager, Russia

International pharmaceutical company is looking for Medical Affairs Manager Russia in the direction of ophthalmology.

Your area of responsibility will include:

• Supports the product(s) as Brand of Choice through medical communications, scientific support for promotional activities and other related medical activities including, but not limited to studies, trainings, and medical information;
• Is responsible for Russia, to start up and implement the country’s medical affairs plan and develop and follow up;
• Develops, maintains and extends contacts with top KOLs in our field of therapeutic area, organizes AdB, round tables, educational events;
• Present data on existing products and new launches to healthcare professionals including physicians, hospital practitioners, formulary committees, pharmacists and internal colleagues;
• Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, local and international rules and regulations;
• Gives strategic medical input into the business plans, market access strategies, uptake of company products in guidelines, promotional materials and the selection of the most recent/appropriate claims, arguments and references to be used;
• Provides input on/drafts local publications/abstracts/reports/medical reviews and, if applicable, medical training materials;
• Reviews expert reports to support reimbursement or formulary listing processes and is involved in the development of value packs;
• Evaluates scientific value of projects for which support is requested from the company;
• Recommend trials site to R&D colleagues, provide medical and scientific expertise related to Local phase IV studies design and deliverables (protocols, clinical trials, publications), initial review of local IST proposals;

• Manage, develop, engage Russian Medical Team to continuously improve deliver to the business.

It is important for the company:

• Higher medical education;

• At least 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry of which 3 years in medical affairs;

• Experience in ophthalmology;

• Affinity with marketing & sales, knowledge on market access is a plus;

• English language from Advanced level.
