Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented Academic Programs Associate to work directly with the Head of Academics & Support. This role is vital to the smooth execution of our academic strategy, school operations, and student/teacher support systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong project management skills, and has experience in academic or educational operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Operational Support
Assist in coordinating key academic projects, including teacher recruitment, training initiatives, and onboarding processes
Support implementation and management of academic calendars, state reporting requirements, and curriculum planning cycles
Liaise with external partners such as the FLDOE, accrediting agencies, scholarship bodies, and state registration offices
Track project timelines, delegate tasks, and ensure completion of high-priority initiatives
Academic & Student Experience Support
Collaborate with the Learning Support Services (LSS) team and Academic Advisors to enhance student success
Help monitor student performance data, identify trends, and propose improvement strategies
Assist in the preparation and distribution of curriculum materials and student communication
Contribute to the collection of student and parent feedback (e.g., Net Promoter Score)
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Partner with marketing and admissions teams to ensure consistent academic messaging and support during enrollment
Coordinate with tech teams and LMS administrators to troubleshoot learning system issues and integrations
Support communications with parents, students, and staff regarding academic updates, deadlines, and compliance items
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience in online education, academic administration, or school operations
Familiarity with U.S. K–12 education systems, including state registration, scholarship programs, and accreditation processes
Proficient in project management and productivity tools, including Notion, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, CRM systems, and learning management platforms
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
