Senior Exploration Geologist

Jop Profile:

- Plan and conduct exploration program in Esan’s focus areas of interest
- Develop regional, target, and deposit-scale geological models (lithology, structure, alteration, and mineralization)
- Collection, compilation, data management, and interpretation of geological information from exploration programs including drilling, mapping, geophysics, and surface sampling etc.
- Creating and developing mineral investment opportunities with third-party
- Maintaining company logistics, creating, and developing public and governmental relations
- Liaising and managing exploration contractors
- Provide mentoring and training to junior staff and field technicians as required
- Weekly and monthly exploration reporting to Exploration Manager

Requirements:

- MSc degree in Geology required with PhD degree in economic geology preferred
- 7+ years of industry experience, greenfield and brownfield exploration projects, or practical experience in mine geology operations
- Familiarity with various international reporting standards (NI 43-101, JORC code)
- Strong technical knowledge and experience from one or more deposit styles; MVT, SEDEX or any Sediment Hosted Pb-Zn deposits
- Regional-scale targeting and exploration experience in South Tien Shan
- Demonstrated competence in GIS and 3D modelling software, preferably ArcGIS and Micromine
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Mining Act and Regulations
- Familiarity with Uzbek licensing and reporting procedures for state balance of mineral reserves.
- Excellent English and Russian written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work at remote location on 3 weeks on, 1 week off rotation
- Exceptional leadership, time management, communication, and organizational skills
- This position is open to Uzbekhistan citizens only
- Field in Field out 3weeks/1week off
