The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing all internal and external recruitment activities: will deliver pipelines of candidates by using different professional networks, social media and other sources, and building relationships with passive candidates. This individual will execute the day-to-day sourcing activities aimed to find experienced candidates and hire the right people for the Hotel Departments. This role will include active participation in other HR related areas such as employee engagement, onboarding program, internal communications, corporate culture and so on.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensure and adhere to a consistent and effective recruitment process
  • Proactively identify, contact candidates and create a pipeline of talented applicants utilizing a variety of sources including, but not limited to, Internet postings and search, direct sourcing, employee referrals, social media, networking and agencies;
  • Gather and analyze competitive information regarding salary, compensations and benefits, employment practices, etc.;
  • Identify and realize recruitment strategies and opportunities to close current openings
  • Evaluate applicant resumes, pre-screen applicants, and coordinate interviews with the hiring manager;
  • Negotiate with and communicate offers to successful candidates;
  • Managing the role of the Recruitment Coordinator delegating placement of advertisements, database administration, co-ordination of interviews, collation of up to date job description library and prompt collation of employment contracts and offer letters and undertaking of line level interviews where necessary;
  • Linking with University’s, Schools, Colleges and managing work experience programs, internships and graduate programs with the support from the Training & Development Manager;
  • Working closely with nominated hotel charities to recruit/offer programs to their clients
  • Organizing and presenting at all CHI approved career presentations;
  • Organizing show rounds for related schools and colleges;
  • Partner with HR team to improve sourcing strategies (leveraging internet tools, social networking, online ads, etc.) to ensure an adequate pipelines of talented candidates
  • Hire highly qualified talents in the least amount of time;
  • Foster relationships with passive candidates;
  • Assist and active collaborate in other HR related activities such as onboarding, performance appraisals, employee engagement, internal communications, corporate culture, HR brand, etc.;
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies if/when needed;
  • Maintain and keep up to date the applicant tracking system.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 1 - 2 years’ experience as a Recruitment Specialist (Hotel experience is a +)
  • Have strong working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Adopt Photoshop; MS Office full competency, HR Systems
  • Effective time and priority management
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills in English & Russian
  • Be able to work under pressure and work on own initiative
