CEO / Managing Director – Energy Trading, & Solar PV BESS Projects

Обязанности:

• Разработка и реализация стратегии компании в области покупки и продажи солнечной электроэнергии на рынке Кипра.
• Ведение переговоров и заключение договоров с поставщиками, трейдерами и регулирующими органами (ЕС, CERA, EAC и др.).
• Курирование процессов проектирования, запуска и эксплуатации фотовольтаических парков (PV).
• Анализ рынка и цен на электроэнергию, мониторинг спроса и предложения.
• Обеспечение соблюдения всех нормативных и технических требований.
• Руководство командой инженеров, юристов, энергетических аналитиков.
• Управление P&L, финансовое планирование и отчётность по проектам.
• Инициация новых инвестиционных проектов в сфере ВИЭ (включая Storage / BESS, Smart Grid и пр.).

Требования:

• Опыт работы в энергетике от 5 лет, включая фотовольтаику — обязательно.
• Опыт запуска и управления солнечными электростанциями на Кипре или в ЕС.
• Знание законодательства Кипра и ЕС в области энергетики и ВИЭ.
• Навыки стратегического и операционного управления.
• Отличные коммуникативные и переговорные навыки (греческий и/или английский язык).
• Высшее техническое или экономическое образование (предпочтительно энергетика, инженерия, экономика).

Будет плюсом:

• Личный опыт взаимодействия с CERA, TSO Cyprus, EAC.
• Знание систем балансировки, Net Metering, PPA, CfD, лицензирования IPP.
• Опыт привлечения финансирования и реализации проектов под ключ (EPC, O&M).

Key Responsibilities:

• • Develop and implement the company’s strategy for solar electricity trading and energy market operations in Cyprus.
• • Lead negotiations and manage contracts with energy suppliers, traders, and regulatory bodies (e.g. CERA, EAC, TSO Cyprus).
• • Oversee planning, development, and operation of photovoltaic (PV) parks.
• • Monitor electricity prices, market dynamics, and regulatory developments.
• • Ensure full compliance with local and EU energy regulations.
• • Manage multidisciplinary teams: engineers, legal advisors, and energy analysts.
• • Own P&L responsibility, lead budgeting and financial reporting across projects.
• • Initiate and supervise new investment opportunities in renewable energy (including BESS, smart grids, etc.).

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on solar PV.
• Experience in leading a team of 5-10 people in this field.
• Proven track record in launching and operating solar power plants in Cyprus or the EU.
• Solid understanding of Cyprus and EU legislation in the energy and renewables sector.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English is required (Greek is a strong advantage).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Energy, or Economics (or related field).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with CERA, EAC, and the Cyprus TSO.
• Knowledge of power balancing, Net Metering, PPAs, CfDs, and IPP licensing.
• Background in financing and executing EPC / O&M renewable energy projects.
Salary:
• Gross annual salary: €100,000 – €120,000 or
• Fixed base salary plus commission (%) based on deals closed or
• Fixed base salary plus Equity stake in the business (to be discussed during the interview process.
