Nurse

Duties:

*Make successful student learning the central consideration in all aspects of decision making
*Communicate and model the kinds of behaviors and relationships required to succeed at TIS
*Provide life-saving emergency health care to students when required
*Conducts contact tracing of COVID-19 cases within the community
*Make recommendations to the Director and Principal on the quarantine or isolation of student and staff member contact(s) for COVID-19 cases
*Recommend hygiene policy and enforce standards on campus
*Maintains TIS medical supplies in the health unit
*Manage and track the health unit budget
*Execute medical-related expenditures for stock on hand
*Participate in meetings with leadership on health-related topics
*Maintain TIS first aid kits and inspect AEDs
*Coordinate with TIC or local primary care providers for advanced/continued medical care
*Secure and maintain student school medical records
*Work with Health & Safety Committee to assess school environment for health and safety risks
*Serve as consultant for food service personnel, physical education teachers, custodial staff, and teachers
*Perform annual medical checks on students (lice, vision, etc)
*Provide basic first aid training for staff members as required

Professional requirements:

Nursing qualifications
Licensed in MOH
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)
International School experience a big plus
