Manage monthly and weekly forecasting process at both the detail (short term) and aggregate (mid and long term) level to create a 0 -36 month rolling demand plan which becomes the basis for operating plans and financial projections.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams on demand plan preparation and execution
Analyze data to translate it into insights.
Challenge data sources and assumptions and ensure that the demand plan reflects commercial actions and assumptions in a fact-based way.
Drive the understanding of forecast changes including main drivers (volume, price, competition, etc.)
Create scenarios through identification of demand risks and opportunities, and through application of sensitivity analyses in price, market share, and competitive data.
Identify gaps between plans and strategy.
Drive gap closure vs. operational & financial targets through management of risks & opportunities.
Ensure all aspects of the plan are reconciled and issues escalated to the Region Demand Review and Integrated Reconciliation appropriately.
Drive reduction of forecast bias and improvement of forecast mix.
Challenge as-is ways of working and drive continuous improvement in demand planning process, tools and organization.

Functional Skills & Experience
Degree in science, business or technical
Experience in a Demand Planner role within an S&OP/IBP environment - preferred
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
Experience in close cooperation with commercial and/or general business management function
Comfortably communicating and acting with different levels and stakeholders
Resilient and willing to challenge the status quo and drive improvement
Ability to see the big picture and drill down to details when required
