QA Fintech engineer

Individual entrepreneur working on an international project is looking for a QA engineer to join the existing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our B2B fintech products. You will work closely with product owners, developers and analysts, testing web platforms, APIs, integrations and trading plugins, as well as participating in the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Remote job is acceptable.

Responsibilities:
1. Development and support of test cases, checklists and test plans for the company's products.
2. Participation in continuous improvement of QA approaches and processes.
3. Setting up test environments and assisting with deployment if necessary.
4. Communication with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and solve problems.
5. Testing financial web applications, APIs, integrations and plugins.
6. Creating and tracking bugs using test management and bug tracking systems.

Requirements:
1. Responsibility, initiative, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
2. Experience in QA from 3 years, preferably in the field of fintech, B2B or integration products.
3. Experience in testing financial web applications and integrations.
4. Experience with bug tracking and test management systems.
5. Basic knowledge of SQL, JSON, HTML, JavaScript.
6. Experience with developer tools in the browser (e.g. Chrome DevTools).
7. Analytical thinking and ability to work independently.
8. English level — not lower than Intermediate (for communication and documentation).

The advantage will be:
1. Experience in automated testing (unit, API, UI)
2. Experience with financial, brokerage or payment products
3. Experience with MetaTrader 4/5 (as a user, tester or just knowledge of platforms)
